In the article, Angela writes about the struggles of A-list pop star Justin Bieber faces in his day-to-day life. Justin, for the first time, address's the concerns that lie around his mental health and calling out "people who are mean and hurtful". Justin recently attended Coachella, a huge music festival in palm desert, and was caught smoking while dancing. Fans expressed concern, which Bieber then responded to with:“They treat me like a-- out here, but if I remember that I am flawed too and god forgave me, It helps me to stop feeling better than those people who are mean and hurtful,” Bieber, 31, wrote. “Because when I’m really honest I can be mean and hurtful too.” Bieber, who rose to fame at a very young age has been open about how his early fame has affected him, with anger issues and being "inauthentic" or "not enough". Recently, fans have brought attention to Justins cryptic social media posts, the posts along with videos of him at Coachella have fuelled non-factual rumours of him and substance abuse. Justin told TMZ rumours were not true and speculation of his physical and mental health is “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”  Throughout Justin's fame, fans have always kept tabs on his love life, including one of his most famous and rumour filled relationship with Selena Gomez, another A-list pop star/actor. Through Justin's decade long relationship with Hailey, many fans have compared it to Justins relationship with Selena. Fans say his relationship with Hailey is "disingenuous" compared to what he had with Selena.

My thoughts on this go back to when Justin Bieber started his career. Justin was found on YouTube by scooter braun at age 15 and was signed to the same label Usher was under at the time. Justins young age and good looks made him famous with teenagers and young adults, though many of these people were older than 18, and sexualizing Justin when he was just 15. Justin was under the pressure to be attractive as well as to find a significant other for the medias attention. Justin was constantly in the eyes of the media and was being critiqued for everything he was doing, never having privacy. Becoming an A-list celebrity at only 15 caused lots of distress and deteriorated his mental health. When he started dating Selena Gomez, he was only 16, Selena was 18. that relationship was on and off until 2014, where he started dating Hailey Baldwin 2 months later. Many fans jumped on the bandwagon of hate towards their relationship; calling it "fake" and saying Justin did not love Hailey. Justin chose not to comment on the rumours until recently. Selena Gomez got engaged to Benny Blanco and fans have tied Justins poor health to the engagement. In Justins recent post he appeared to allude to the gossip,“And honestly if I was u it would be hard not to be jealous if I saw me and Hailey going so brazzzzyy,” he wrote. “It’s really up for us and that’s understandable why people can’t stand it. I don’t blame em.” In this post he states how fans hate on him and Hailey's relationship because they are jealous, but he does not blame them. I feel he has grown since his young pop star age and has become more mature, but that does not mean people can still comment on his relationship with Hailey and critique it. Their relationship is purely their own and if they are in a good place or not is none of our business. In conclusion, Justins mental health is justified in his young stardom and we, as fans, should not comment on his life style or relationships.
